The GIORTO Research Group is made up of a group of researchers with a multidisciplinary background that focus their research activities on problems relevant to the advancement of the specialty of orthodontics. The main objectives of our group include the study of craniofacial growth and development and other biomedical disciplines related to orthodontics, the evaluation of orthognathic surgical techniques, the laboratory and clinical study of orthodontic biomaterials and the development of clinical trials and clinical epidemiology studies aiming to study new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
