The GIMPLANT Research Group is made up of a group of researchers with a multidisciplinary background that focus their research activities in the field of bone biology and dental implants.
The main objectives of our group are to understand bone morphogenesis, healing and regeneration, to develop new therapeutics for bone substitution, to study biomaterials for treatment, promotion or acceleration of bone healing, to evaluate surgical techniques and biomaterials used in implantology and to develop human clinical trials on dental and bone implants, osseointegration and bone regeneration, as a new therapeutics strategy.
